German Clothing Vocabulary
Today’s video is all about clothing vocabulary in German. Watch the 4th annual Barbie Fashion Show and learn a ton of vocabulary for common clothing articles in German. In the video version of the lessonI paused between each “model” to show you the vocabulary from that “model” in the singular and plural forms.

Hallo und willkommen zur vierten jährlichen Modenschau mit Barbie und ihren Freunden. Schau zu und du wirst Wörter für Kleidung lernen.
Das ist Doktor Schönheit. Sie trägt heute einen blau-rosa gestreiften Rock mit einer schwarzen Bluse und einem weißen Arbeitskittel.
Diese Barbie reitet gern. Sie hat eine Hose, ein T-Shirt und eine Weste an. Sie trägt zur Sicherheit einen Helm.
Prinzessin Aurora hat ein Kleid und eine Krone an.
Das ist Tante Samantha. Sie trägt eine blaue kurze Hose, eine weiße Bluse und eine rot-weiß Weste. Sie trägt auch eine blaue Fliege. Fliegen sind cool. Da Tante Samantha die Frau von Onkel Sam ist, trägt sie auch einen roten Zylinderhut. Das ist bei ihnen eine Familientradition.
Diese Bibliothekarin trägt einen braunen Rock mit einer weißen Bluse, einer blauen Weste und einer gelben Krawatte. Sie ist weitsichtig. Deshalb trägt sie auch eine Brille.
Oooo. Schau mal da! Ein Astronaut. Er hat einen Raumanzug an. (astronaut floats by)
Dieses Baby hat einen Einteiler an und schläft mit seinem Bären.
Das ist Gretel. Sie glaubt, es wird bald regnen. Deshalb hat sie einen Regenmantel und einen Regenhut an.
Dieser Schüler heißt Hansi. Er geht heute in die Schule. Er trägt eine blaue Hose und ein Langarm-T-Shirt. Er hat auch eine gelbe Schultasche. Darin hat er seine Bücher, Hefte und Bleistifte. Seine Tennisschuhe sind weiß. Seine Uhr ist blau.
Das ist Kevin. Kevin glaubt, heute ist Ostern. Es ist nicht Ostern. Kevin ist blöd. Trotzdem trägt er ein Hasenkostüm. Sei nicht wie Kevin.
